The Salem Chapter of SHRM, SHRMA, has been awarded the Superior
Merit Award. This award recognizes excellence in chapter operations and
commitment to providing meaningful programs and services to our members. By
achieving this award, our chapter distinguishes itself as an outstanding
organization dedicated to the professional advancement of our members and the
advancement of the human resource management profession. Congratulations to
all our members and thank you for your continued membership and support!
What is the Superior Merit Award?
Information about the Superior Merit Award
- Those chapters choosing to participate in the merit program award complete
the chapter point calculation column on page 10.
- The superior merit is awarded to chapters achieving at least 725 but less
than 850 points.
- Superior merit award- awarded to chapters achieving at least 850 points.
Chapters must use the SHRM logo correctly ("affiliate of") on all chapter
publications and correspondence to qualify for a superior merit award.
- Complete and submit with all required information to the chapter activity
plan review committee, c/o SHRM headquarters. The chapter activity plan must
be postmarked no later than January 31, 2002, for awarded consideration.
- The chapter activity plan will be evaluated by a review committee selected
annually by the SHRM board of directors
- Chapter award notification will be mailed directly to the chapter
president record.
- No checks or membership applications should accompany the chapter activity
plan.
- No activity may be counted more than once.
