Reports To: Chapter President Chapter Officers & Members

 

General Position Summary:

 

Promotes interest in the Human Resource profession through interaction between local Human Resource Management students and NHRMA chapter.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

  1. Promotes membership and participation in the NHRMA local chapter at Willamette University.

  2. Establishes and maintains an ongoing mentor program between students and chapter members. Identifies students for project needs of chapter members.

  3. Keeps chapter informed of student chapter activities.

  4. Serves as liaison between student chapter and parent NHRMA chapter.

  5. Attends all monthly membership meetings; encourages students to attend parent chapter meeting and networks with members.

  6. Participates in the development and implementation of short-term and long-term strategic planning for the chapter.

  7. Represents the chapter in the human resources community.

 

Essential qualifications:

 

  1.  Must be a member in good standing.

  2. PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
